Safety Bulletin: Old Fire Hall on Clover Street

All visitors and residents should avoid the area around the Old Fire Hall, along Clover Street at this time. The apartment section / extension is showing signs of serious structural failure that may result in an unplanned collapse. We ask that drivers and pedestrians avoid this area until we can safely remove the hazard and secure the building.  

Public safety and environmental protection are key priorities and BC Housing is working to address the imminent risks. In the meantime, BC Housing has erected fencing and is closely monitoring the building’s condition.
